It’s the new year and I’m ready to keep going. As I’m writing this I realize that as I’m growing to be an online creator, I still have myself to figure out. Like what am I? Am I just a lash artist? Is that my whole persona, I don’t want to be just a lash person. I want to give more than just that. And I think that’s what the new year is for. It’s for giving me a chance to find out who I am and what I want to grow into even more.
Here’s what my January updates for my business
Creating an online presence (As I’ve told multiple people, I haven’t touched social media since last September, maybe like one story, but no more of that)
1 Story (Min) a day on Instagram
Posting something every other day on Instagram
Get back into email marketing
Now, instead of taking my sweet time for the month, can I pick up the pace and finish 80% before February and 95% on the first week of February?
Finally giving myself deadlines
I'm reducing my hours for work so I can work from home and do all the behind the scenes because I’ve been avoiding it for a while now. I think I should be a normal person and try to be consistent in my life. It takes a toll on me some days that I’m commuting to work for one appointment. Love seeing clients, but it’s hard to get any other work done. If you didn’t know I’ve been doing Monday - Saturday and Saturday is only my half-time. So here’s to my new hours:
Tuesday until 4PM
Wednesday all day
Thursday all day
Friday all day
Because I haven’t worked on what I want my business to grow, I have to do that within 2 weeks in the middle of the month. & Then I’ll have a better idea of what I can give
As I’m trying to maintain this side of the business & making it a habit to do for the year, I need to focus on growth. As I just mentioned above, it’s the growth part I want to continue learning to do.

As for my side hobbies, I need to slow down. As a person who loves to do a lot of things and I’ve picked up on a new hobby, I need to make it optional in my life. If you’re wondering, one hobby I picked up is journaling. Specially bullet journaling, it’s a great and mindless organizational journal to me and I’m kind of obsessed at the moment.
Besides that, this blog will be a time when I have a moment to myself and think about work while I wait for clients in between, finishing up the week or whenever really. This is not optional to me, but it’s a good way for me to rethink, reflect, and review what I’ve done so far and what I need to do.
January already feels like I’ve done a lot already and it’s coming to an end.
